Don’t tread on Israel’s toes!

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed his abundant disapproval and frustration over the UN’s collusion to gang-up against Israel.

In remarks following the UN vote on Friday, he particularly expressed his disappointment over the United States’ backstabbing calling it a “shameful anti-Israel ploy” and a failure “protect Israel against this gang-up at the UN.” He also blamed them for colluding “with it [the UN gang-up] behind the scenes.”

Netanyahu has also said he will not abide by the UN Security Council’s demands for Tel Aviv to halt its settlement activities in ‘occupied territory.’

Israel rejects this shameful anti-Israel resolution at the UN and will not abide by its terms. At a time when the Security Council does nothing to stop the slaughter of half a million people in Syria, it disgracefully gangs up on the one true democracy in the Middle East, Israel and calls the Western Wall ‘occupied territory.’ The Obama administration not only failed to protect Israel against this gang-up at the UN, it colluded with it behind the scenes. Israel looks forward to working with President-elect Donald Trump and with all our friends in Congress, Republicans and Democrats alike, to negate the harmful effects of this absurd resolution.
Early Sunday, Israel summoned the ambassadors of 10 countries that voted for the resolution. – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

It’s kind of like a scene at school where the school yard bullies are summoned to the principal’s office.

The Israeli Foreign Ministry said ambassadors were called in for Israel “to express deep anger and dissatisfaction as a result of the vote of countries that consider themselves friends of Israel.”

“This was not a vote in favor of peace. It was a vote against Israel.”

Israel has also been backed up by their new political friends in the US: Donald Trump, Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee.

Following the UN vote, President-elect Donald Trump slammed the Obama administration for its decision not to veto the resolution, promising that it would be “different” under his presidency.

“As to the U.N., things will be different after Jan. 20th,” Trump tweeted Friday.

Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz also took to Twitter, saying he spoke to Netanyahu to send him Hanukkah greetings along with the assurance of “strong support in Congress.”

Cruz declared that the US would freeze UN funding until the detrimental resolution was reversed.

Spoke w/ Israeli PM @netanyahu tonight to wish him Happy Chanukah & assure him of strong support in Congress. No US $ for UN until reversed.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee took a more hard-core approach in his seething response to the UN resolution when he called on US President-elect Donald Trump to “jackhammer the whole United Nations off into the East River” and defund the world body.

Time to quit funding UN; they are mosquitoes pretending to be eagles. Clueless, cowardly and cartoonish. #DefundUN

Netanyahu has expressed his gratitude and delight over the very pro-Israel rhetoric made by his friends in the US.

He also expressed his dismay at the Obama’s betrayal and collusion with the UN.

PM Netanyahu: And, as I told @JohnKerry on Thursday, friends don’t take friends to the Security Council.

He also declared that the United Nations Security Council was not the place to resolve the land settlement issues.

Over decades American administrations and Israeli govts disagreed about settlements but we agreed the UNSC was not the place to resolve this

Senegal was one of the countries to vote against Israel’s settlements and Netanyahu responded swiftly by ordering all Israeli aid to the Western African country be halted.

I have ordered that all Israeli aid to Senegal be halted. Those who work with us will benefit because Israel has much to give to the world.

It is very apparent that the United Nations is continuing to wage an all-out war against Israel by its heavy-handed, hypocritical and humongous resolutions.

The United Nations is the number one collective enemy of the only true democracy in the Middle East – Israel.

Why is the totalitarian United Nations Security Council failing to enforce sanctions on North Korea, Syria or Iran – probably the most human rights violating countries on the face of this planet and instead chooses to single out Israel?

Clearly the UN is not about peace as they purport themselves to be, they are totally against peace and only exist to serve their own interests.

Israel and US political figures are making it abundantly clear that Israel’s national sovereignty must not be interfered with, and any ganging up against the Jewish State has consequences.
