Fashion Fwd: One948

How do programs like Onward Israel and Taglit-Birthright Israel transform the U.S. Israel relationship? These programs inspire young adults to take a look at their lives and create an unbreakable bond with Israel. Having staffed 12 Taglit-Birthright Israel program I have seen firsthand that remarkable “spark” that is created from an immersive Israel experience. This spark ignites and inspires young adults to connect to Israel for return trips, business ventures and education. Entrepreneurs and alumni of these organizations are creating incredible projects and companies to support Israel in fighting against the BDS movement and helping those in need in Israel.

I spoke with Brian Horowitz Co- Founder of the fashion start up One948 a new fashion start up focusing on Israeli/Jewish themes. They recently launched a Kickstarter campaign and just surpassed their goal.   One948 aims to strengthen the unity of Israel supporters worldwide through apparel, while simultaneously putting 10% of our profits back into non-profit organizations that help Israel.

The best way to combat the BDS movement is through investment and ingenuity. With companies like One948 we are seeing how Israel experiences are transforming the minds and passions of young adults and pro-Israel community.
