For Tomorrow and its Needs

‘Fearing outbreak, ministry to inoculate nation’s children against polio.’                          TOI August 4, 2013.

But why not also have a program to immunise children (and adults) against the many outbreaks of conflict and violent behaviour that have long been prevalent in this same part of the world?

By introducing a weakened form of the disease into the entire body politic, the reaction that would follow could have only one outcome; there would arrive an almost complete immunity from the pathogen and the children of today might then much more easily go on to become the adults of tomorrow.
