God manifested in humans

Cristofer Maximilian

In that order, your thoughts, words, and actions make a genuine difference.

The Bible says we are created in the form and image of God. Indeed, God is not seated on a throne in heaven, with a long, white flowing beard, gazing down at the universe.

God is a spiritual force, something akin to gravity. You know with certainty, from its effects, that it is there, yet you find it difficult to explain precisely what it is.

When someone says, “This doctor is better than that doctor,” or “This concept is a lot more complicated than another,” this is merely a metaphor for some spiritual, ethereal matter.

The books of mysticism explain that in the same way, our body comprises many different powers, faculties, and attributes, God, who is the source and creator of all those attributes, has all of them and more in his powers; and it is in the precise order and configuration that those powers are in God that we see them in the human body.

God can see all, hear all, speak, and communicate. God has a giving right hand, which is stronger than the left, and altogether there are ten fingers (tools of the hand) and ten toes, which correspond to the ten sayings with which God created the world and the ten commandments of action that we are expected to fulfill.

In the book of Job, he says, “From my flesh, I perceive Godliness.” If we have it down here in ourselves, God has it in some spiritual form, bigger and stronger, because He is the source. The higher and closer you get to the essence of God, the more significant, more superior, and more intense His powers.

The same is within God’s form and image here in this world, the human body. God says in his book, the Bible, that humans, who are created in His image, have those same (Godly) powers in ascending order within themselves.

We see in the form of the human being we have feet at the bottom and brains at the top.

A person with his faculty of action—his feet and hands, can kick or throw a ball only so far. As we progress to the faculty of speech, a person’s mouth can reach much further than his hands. A person can pick up a scent with his nose from far, farther away than he can reach with his voice. Scent penetrates a person much deeper than words do. With his ears, he can pick up sounds farther than he can sense with his nose, and with his eyes, he can reach even farther out than his ears. Here, too, what a person decides to look at will undoubtedly have a much deeper effect on his soul than what he listens to.

As we progress through the levels, the highest and most potent trait within a person is his thoughts. “All was made with wisdom.” What a person decides with his free choice to think with his mind will make the most profound, powerful impression on his life. It is the highest in our bodies for a reason.

“Know what is above (in Heaven) comes from you.” In the Zohar, it is written that “Above deals with below, according to the way the below conducts itself.” If a person is happy and full of optimism, above will be happy and optimistic with the person.”

A person’s power is from being designed as an expression and manifestation of Godliness. When a person thinks, he is generating a thought out of nothing, similar to God, whose first thought to create the world came out of nothing. Thought is the very origin of everything that will flow and follow in one’s body and life.

When a person recognizes that he is channeling the power God gives each individual and uses his mind to think Godly and positive thoughts, he has harnessed a confluence of the most powerful energies in the universe to influence everything in a manner that becomes blessed.
