Hamas, Elon Musk and the Nazis’ Seductive Paraphernalia

Simone Weil, the French philosopher – though born a Jew, some say she died a Christian – in a letter to her Catholic mentor, Father Perrin, wrote, in 1942, “I know that if at this moment I had twenty young Germans singing Nazi songs in chorus, a part of my soul would instantly become Nazi.”

The show of young, virile, Germans displaying fraternal – quasi-military – cameraderie against Jews and Christians alike if these Jews and Christians even fleetingly entertained the thought that they could prevail over them, must have attracted Weil – perhaps sexually, perhaps psychologically – we do not know.

Do the members of Hamas, when they parade the hostages, abducted on October 7th, 2023, dressed in their military paraphernalia, holding their guns barrel-upward, standing legs apart on both the right and the left of each hostage, unwittingly play on this wish to attract Jews and Christians to their cause?

Are Jews and Christians attracted to Hamas’s cause?

Why have Israelis not acted to prevent such showmanship on the part of Hamas before? Why are Jews so backward in coming forward?

Could it be that they are wary of those – who must, in so doing, want to silence the Jews – anti-semites to be found crticising Jews determined always to call out anti-semitism; those Jews who always stand up for Jews because they are, well, Jewish for reasons such as excessively bad treatment, in turn leading to these Jews’ fraternal feelings which outweigh the wrongs of supporting Jewish “bad eggs”?

Could it be, on the other hand, because the paraphernalia of, for example, Hamas, has cowered those Jews who secretly harbour a soft spot for those who display their strength and unity? – cowering men and women alike whose instinct is the selfish instinct of self survival on the lines of that of the Kapos of the Nazi concentration camps who traded their morals and some Jewish women who traded sex for better food and other favours.

Simone Weil had, in 1942, occupied France to contend with and may well have displayed just such a self-survival instinct when she wrote openly to Father Perrin in January of that year about her sympathy with the young German boys.

Contrarywise, Weill did almost everything in her power to repudiate life, for example, by not eating enough to ward off various ailments, perhaps because she knew that her name would go down in the history books which, in the long run, she may have unconsciouly chosen as a better survival instinct.

Oh, and goodness! what of Elon Musk and his recent chainsaw display, as well as his Nazi salute a few days ago?!

Musk was pictured holding the chainsaw in a way that evoked the Hamas operatives’ positioning of their “presents” from Ayatollah Khamenei – upward and ready for action.

In view of Musk’s previous spat with the ex-leader of the Scottish National Party, Hamza Yousaf, a Pakistani Mohammedan, was not Musk’s preceding “Hail Hitler” of greater concern?

Is Musk aligning himself with Donald Trump and his white supremacist supporters rather than being anti-Jews? or is he, perhaps, tapping into the irrational proclivities of non-Trump supporters in order to strengthen the support base for Trump?

It is imperative that Jews find out.
