HamasFlights cancellation to Israel: a victory for Hamas

The airlines which suspended the flights to Ben Gurion Airport are definitely rewarding Hamas. “What a successful boycott” are rejoicing now all of Hamas friends, and they are much more in numbers than they are ready to admit. For example, among them there are all the anti-Israeli demonstrators who took the streets with antisemite slogans, as we could witness in these days in London, Paris, and in Italy as well.

The flights cancellation epitomizes Israel’s worst nightmare, i.e. its isolation from the West. This small, brave splinter of civilization and democracy has been abandoned in the midst of an extremist, dictatorial, islamist world.

This choice represents also the definitive impracticability of a solution that will give the Palestinians the ’67 borders: was its airport at gun point of Palestinian extremists, that would be the certification of an international danger Israel cannot certainly afford.

In these hours, Israel is claiming that it can keep the total security of the skies above its international airport. If it wasn’t completely sure about that, it would not bear this very heavy responsibility. Therefore, international airlines, do not abide by violence and terror. Restore your flights.
