Happy #Purim #Crimea!

Today is the second day of Purim as well as the day chosen for Crimea Referendum.  Diplomats and peace makers are trying to make sense out of events that seem to be out of control.

Perhaps the geo-political wisdom for solving this problem and others like it lie in ancient geo-spiritual wisdom. Purim is a holiday in which we are supposed to become so drunk that we can no longer distinguish between the evil Haman and righteous Mordechai.  We need to transplant the spiritual head of Mordechai over the selfish passion of Haman.

The solution to Crimea and Ukraine is not simply a choice between Western capitalistic and faded Russian communist values, but rather a combination of both.  The populous needs to weed out hate for sowing the seeds of spiritual freedom.

Spiritual Purim 101: We need to redirect our selfish capitalistic desires towards a kind of spiritual communism society that Karl Marx could have only dreamed of and that the Soviets were never able to pull off. It is now coming out that Kabbalist Yehudah Ashlag, the Baal HaSulam, believed that Karl Marx’ ideologies were more influenced on Kabbalah previously revealed. Not an atheistic society, but one in which humanity has re-connected in spirit with the Creator.  This is the spiritual goal of Purim, the revelation of the concealment.  This kind spiritual communism utopian society would be one attained after Tikkun Olam.

Just as certain as weeds lie dormant in the winter ground waiting for the first spring moment to germinate, certain global leaders are waiting for the first opportunity to exploit other nations geo-politically. A culture clash, a clash between and amongst metaphorical grasses striving for domination in their garden; now being polarized between the EU and Russia.  Perhaps there exists a tension between the Muslim and Christian influences as well. Caught in the devil’s bargain?

For two thousand years, we Jews have been transplanting our Wandering Jew roots amongst the Nations of the World. The time has come for all of us to till the deepest garden fields of PARDES in the torah for setting an example for the rest of humanity. We need to learn to root out our inner weeds and unclog our spiritual roots, not only for our benefit but for humanity.  The time has come to strengthen and unclog our spiritual roots for streaming eight billion spiritual intentions back through our Jewish roots that feed into the Spirit of Israel.

One day, we will come to a general conclusion that there can never be a rational solution to solving problems between East and West; just as there will never be a rational solution for attaining peace in the Middle East.   We must all just understand the justification for the weed patches is to thrust us into new heights of spiritual attainments. This is the lesson of Purim and the lesson can be learned in Crimea.
