EL AL ISRAEL AIRLINES ANNOUNCES NEW AIRPORT TERMINAL AT BOROSFIEL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN KIEV, UKRAINE
OPEN FOR PASSENGERS TRAVELLING TO UMAN FOR ROSH HASHANA
New York, NY – Aug. 15, 2012 – EL AL Israel Airlines is pleased to announce that a new terminal at Borosfiel International Airport in the Ukraine will be open in time for the Jewish New Year when thousands of Hasidim travel to Kiev to visit the tomb of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. This good news was delivered to an EL AL management delegation, led by Vice President of Customer Service Yehudit Grisaro, who visited Kiev to prepare for the upcoming flights, an important operation for EL AL.
The use of a new facility was achieved as a result of the personal intervention to airport authorities in Kiev by EL AL President Elyzer Shkedy. “Our efforts and determination to improve the facilities, including the check-in and waiting areas, will have a positive impact on the thousands of EL AL passengers who will travel with us for the holidays,” said Shkedy. “The new terminal will drastically improve service and better accommodate EL AL passengers from all over the world who are participating in this significant pilgrimage.”
The personal efforts of the managing director of Borosfiel International Airport, Mr. Anton Volov, is enabling EL AL Airlines to use the new Terminal D facilities. Borosfiel is the largest international airport in the Ukraine.
