Her Time to Go…. And NOW

Reading today’s news in our Israeli press has quite honestly made me sick to my stomach and fuming with rage.

It refers to the traitorous MK Hanin Zouabi of the Joint List and her calls in the Knesset for an Arab “uprising” to destroy the fabric of Israeli society in the name of the “freedom” of Palestine.

Her tirade is against the 8 month prison sentence passed by the military court on a 17 year old “terrorist” girl, Ahed Tamimi, for slapping and abusing an Israeli soldier.

The Tamimi violation has been in our news for too long and it has made her, among her Arab people, the “Arab Joan of Arc” for her “brave” defiance of Israeli military commands.

Zouabi, in support and high praise for Tamimi ,heralds her action as a step in the right direction to rid the land of Zionists.

For the moment, I am not concerned with Ahed Tamimi. Her prison sentence will undoubtedly be reduced and she will be free to walk the streets of Palestine as their newest national heroine.

My concern… 100 percent concerned… is why? Why? Why do we permit a traitor, an anti-Israeli, a hater of Jews, to serve as a member of our Israeli national parliament, the Knesset. Freedom of speech be damned.

If a member of the American Congress were to stand up and wish for the dissolution of the American states (return them to their former British colonial power), he or she would at once be “escorted” out of the halls of Congress, charged with treasonous remarks, tried and sentenced, and imprisoned.

Why do we allow a mad dog like Zouabi to remain in our Knesset? Are Knesset members not obliged to take an oath of loyalty to the State of Israel, the nation that they are elected to represent?

Zouabi has a disgraceful history of being a totally anti-Israel citizen of Israel. Her role in the Turkish flotilla against Israel’s blockade of Gaza showed the true colors of a traitor.

If she was elected by a ballot my prayer has been her dis-election by a bullet. Any Israeli citizen, Jew or Arab, who violates the honor and the privileges of living in an Israeli democracy is undeserving of the benefits of Israeli citizenship.

The joke is that if given the choice of being a citizen of the State of Israel or of the yet-unborn State of Palestine, 100 percent of Israeli Arabs would choose to live in Israel where they have more freedoms than they could ever enjoy under a Palestinian regime.

Fellow citizens…it is time for Zouabi to go. The time is now. Let her return to her Nazareth home and shout her disgraceful opinions to passers-by, but let her poisonous voice never more be heard in our Knesset.

Ultimately, the young Palestinian Joan of Arc will be released from her brief prison term. She will be paraded with a confetti flood, heralded as a heroine for the Palestinian cause, and her “bravado” will inspire other young Palestinians to revolt against authority of the Israeli police and our military.

It must be squashed at once. And the way to begin is by humiliating her best admirer, Hanin Zouabi, the mad woman of Nazareth.

Remove her from the Knesset (much more humane than cutting her tongue) and do it NOW.

For Jewish Israelis, Hanin Zouabi is our number one natural disaster!
