I left the Dem Party, now I’m voting for Trump. Here’s why.

READING, PENNSYLVANIA - OCTOBER 09: Republican presidential nominee, former U.S. President Donald Trump delivers remarks at a campaign rally at the Santander Arena on October 09, 2024 in Reading, Pennsylvania. With 26 days until the presidential election, Trump is campaigning across the battleground state of Pennsylvania, including a stop earlier in the day in President Joe Biden's hometown of Scranton. I decided to do the unthinkable, which I thought I would never do again: I would vote for Donald Trump to be president of the United States of America. In my last article, I explained why I would not vote for Harris-Walz, even before their hurricane relief debacle took place. This has left us all wondering about the Federal response from the White House and FEMA.
I have never seen a hurricane relief response handled so poorly by the Federal Government, let alone how they didn’t help my family after experiencing Hurricane Ian many moons ago. During my long hiatus from Twitter-X, I took time to re-center myself to be able to think critically, outside of the left-wing rabbit hole where I became lost and Trump Derangement Syndrome is all I found. I thought Trump could only be held accountable in a fantasy world, but is that reality? To date, Trump has had at least three different confirmed assassination attempts on his life, with people online complaining in each instance that the shooter had “only one job.” How insane is it when a mob gets off on the idea of the former President being assisinated?
Unfortunately, it doesn’t stop there. The only platform that Kamala Harris has is the pro-abortion platform, and that is also a TDS lie. Trump has never had any intentions of banning abortion in America. Nullifying Roe vs Wade at the U.S. Supreme Court gave the States the powers they have always rightfully had to legislate abortion laws in America. Most modern day Republicans support abortion under certain circumstances due to health concerns of the mother and also depending on the length of pregnancy at the time of the abortion (less than 15 weeks.) Besides the abortion topic, Trump has made it clear that he supports Israel’s right to defend itself, and he has also condemned antisemtisim in America numerous times. Even back when Charlottesville had their rally, I was able to listen to the entire Trump speech concerning the events that took place, including the soundbite that Democrats use against him.
I agree with Trump on no more useless wars, and as a Jew I also believe Israel doesn’t need American troops in their wars, Israel is very capable in defending itself from radical terrorsits. It has defended itself well in the face of modern terrorism, and will continue to.
I know Janurary 6th and the stop the steal elections protests were also important events for a former Biden voter like myself, and that was hard to get over, but if you take your bias hat off your head and start asking questions like: -Why didn’t the courts look at the evidence that Trump and his team presentented? -Why did the Janurary 6th Committee and the MSM ignore the fact that Trump did call for peaceful protests and the National Guard? Why don’t Democrats want to hear from those who were at the Capitol? Doesn’t every American have the right to be considered innocent until proven guilty? Yes, there were people who deserve to be held accountable in the Janurary 6th insurrection, but not everyone who was there broke the law that day.
The list goes on for Trump among the positive aspects of his first term. Trump helped develop a vaccine for COVID, which wasn’t good for the leftist who believed “Orange Man Bad” no matter what. Anything Trump has done, he gets attacked and riddiculed. TDS is a very real thing. The left really doesn’t have the moral authority of calling MAGA a cult while they worship their favorite leaders like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Harris etc… at the altar of the mainstream media (MSM.) The MSM and their very-liberal pundits are incredibly biased when presenting the “news” and oftentimes hide the truth in pursuit of their agenda. I can go on about the border bill that Trump recommended Republicans not to approve, (which the majority had nothing to do with stopping border security but sending money to foriegn countries.)
Is Trump perfect? Absolutely not – but his primary opponent Governor Ron DeSantis himself has endorsed Trump, and I, a former Democrat will be voting for him. The policies of the Democrats are dangerous for the country, and it’s frightening how leftists clearly don’t care about the safety of all Americans. As an American Jew, I indeed do not feel safe under a Harris-Walz administration. Lastly to those who have supported me when I was a Democrat, I just wanted to say that this was not meant ot be a stab in the back, or a slap accross your face. I know I don’t expect many Democrats to see it from my point of view. I am aware Democrats haven’t agreed with me on this decision when I was on Twitter-X, but I feel that this is what’s right for myself and the country. Join me in saving our country and doing the right thing. Live your life with no regrets and peace of mind. #SaveAmerica
