I wish you a year…

I wish you and everyone on this planet a year of peace and understanding.

A year of forgiveness, of respect and compassion.

A year of justice and a year of mercy.

A year of good overcoming evil. A year of clarity for things that matter. A year of being on the right side. A year of fixing what is broken. A year of breaking what needs to be fixed.

A year of taking responsibility and owning our actions. A year of recognizing that words harm… but can also heal.

A year of thinking of the other. A year of loving oneself. A year of recognizing the good in everyone.

A year of healing and of faith, of laughter and of hope.

A year of coming together and of distance from things that hurt. A year of redemption- personal and global. A year of freedom. A year of answered dreams…

A year of foresight. A year of balance. A year of wisdom. A year of living up to potential for all of humanity.

A year of stopping before its too late. A year of pushing on until it’s won.

A year of plenty but not too much. A year of appreciation…

A year of laughter, hugs, and above all love.

Love for yourself, your Creator, your family and friends. Your neighbors, your leaders, your teachers, your students, your parents and children, your fellow people — those you see daily and those you’ll never meet.

I wish us all a year of humanity one to another. Of forgiving each other’s flaws as though they were our own.

For we are all one.
