I’m staying with Warren, join me?

The Democratic Primaries have begun. Many Democratic Candidates have dropped out, but there are still some who are fighting for what they believe is the direction our country should go. The majority of the Democrats are moderates including Republican candidate Tulsi Gabbard. That leaves Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren as the last two progressives in the race. Now, I’ve seen many progressives jumping ship to Bernie Sanders campaign, because of his results in the Iowa caucus and New Hampshire primary. I on the other hand I am staying with Elizabeth Warren and here’s why.

While Bernie Sanders is a great candidate and a staunch progressive Democratic socialist, Elizabeth Warren has the experience being a Republican who switched over to the Democratic Party. I can personally identify with her move, so I find her relatable as well as likable. I am putting my old ways behind me by saying a woman candidate is likeable. She continues to fight for us and for the Americans who are often ignored. She has character fighting for people of color and the trans community. She’s the first Dem candidate to call for Trump to be held accountable of his Constitutional violations. Her programs and plans are not really radical, giving people a chance who wouldn’t have an equal opportunity as privileged Americans. She is exceptional and ignores the drama from Trump and his supporters and focuses on the goals ahead. Senator Warren is a professional and knows how to get the job done.

I’ve learned so much in what it means to be a liberal Democrat, and how we can fight for those who are less fortunate. I believe that Elizabeth Warren shows us how to do just that. She hasn’t given up on us, and neither will I. Please consider to continue to support Elizabeth Warren.
