The world watches while Iran continues to boldly prepare itself to become a world nuclear power with Israel and world Jewry being major targets. The Nazis took aim at European Jewry and in the end, 6 million Jews perished before the Nazis were destroyed. Jews had no homeland from which to organize an attack on the Germans. But today is a totally different story.
Nearly 7 million Jews are now alive and well in Israel and it appears Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is not sitting back and waiting for Iran to attack. A bomb early on April 11 blew up the main and backup power supply to the underground enrichment facility at Natanz. It caused damage to various kinds of the 6,000 centrifuges there and set back enrichment for six to nine months, according to Israeli and American reports.
In response to the attack, which it attributed to Israel, Iran announced it had begun enriching uranium up to 60 percent purity at the site — its highest level ever, and a short step from weapons grade.
This past Shabbat we read in Parshat Metzorah a very interesting section dealing with the subject of Tzaraat which is a certain mark that could break out on the walls of a person’s home. The three key words appearing in Ch. 14 v. 34 are – ונתתי נגע צרעת (And I (G-d) Will Put A Tzaraat Mark). In other words, it is G-d saying to Moshe that G-d himself will place this mark on the walls of this house.
When we mention this word today, we automatically think of the disease leprosy. But according to various commentators, the disease during that time was totally different and represented a physical condition representing some spiritual flaw.
Earthquake Hits Iran, Sunday, April 18
TEHRAN, Iran — A magnitude 5.9 earthquake shook southwestern Iran along the Persian Gulf on Sunday, followed by at least three moderate-strength aftershocks, state TV reported.
At least five people were injured, Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency reported. State TV shared mobile phone pictures of collapsed walls and cracked homes in the area of the port city of Bandar Genaveh, the temblor’s epicenter.
Iran’s Quds Force deputy chief dies also on Sunday
A short time after hearing about the above-mentioned earthquake, it was reported that the deputy commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards died of a heart attack, Iranian news media said on Sunday.
Brig. Gen. Muhammad Hussein-Zada Hejazi, 65, worked directly under Iran’s well-known terrorist, General Qassem Soleimani, until the latter was killed in a US drone strike last year. Hejazi was named by Israel in 2019 as the official responsible for an Iranian project to manufacture precision-guided missiles for the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah.
He was, in the past, identified by Israeli media reports as one of the suspected planners of the deadly 1994 bombing at the AMIA Jewish center in Buenos Aires, in which 85 people were killed.
Iran Continues To Threaten Israel And Suffers Two Major Disasters In Quick Succession.
In many previous Blogs I have noted the significance of two separate events when they occur within a short time span of each other.
In this case, the explosion at the Nuclear site caused Iran to sharply increase enriching uranium up to 60 percent purity at the site — its highest level ever, and a short step from weapons grade. This now presents a major threat to Israel with no world power stepping in to defuse the situation.
Israel, most probably would have responded shortly to this threat. But the sudden earthquake and death of one of the terrorist regime’s major leaders, most probably has set back Iran’s nuclear threat for many months and even years.
Considering These Are Two Events Controlled by G-d; Will We Now Witness Justice Being Done To Those Speaking Out Against Israel, Police, Military And The US Court System, To Name A Few?
