We Didn’t Come Here for the Shopping

We didn’t come here for easy shopping

We didn’t come for efficient transportation

We didn’t come here for lazy Sundays

We didn’t come for outstanding customer service

We didn’t come here for a laid back way of life

We didn’t come for convenient banking hours

We didn’t come here for safe monotony

We didn’t come for anonymity

We came because this place is ours.

It is ours and it is our children’s.

It is our past and it is our future

It is our inheritance and it is our bequest.

It is our language and it is our breath.

It is our safety, it is ours to protect.

It is our dream, it is our reality

It is our passion, it is our pursuit

It is not always easy- but it is always ours.

It is home.
