Israel in photos

I have decided in this blog apart from story to share photos of Israel with you.

I want to tell you about Israel…

Israel, where you may see people who spontaneously start singing in a bus. Israel, where you will hear “shalom” – “hi” which means “peace” as well from people who you even do not even know. Israel where people look at you and smile… No, it is not a flirt it is just a habit there.

I may say that I figured out in Israel that the most important thing in life is to smile and to be patient. I heard a story about one soldier from my friend; the soldier returned at the base and start singing, he was happy. I asked why he was so happy? My friend answered me: “Because he made another day, alive.” I may say that Israel thought me to value life.

Moreover, Israel is a place of many stories, different people, cultures, you can learn a lot, you can see a lot, touch the stones on ancient streets, you can breathe the smell of magnificent flowers or simply, you can just understand what Israel really is and smile.

Furthermore, it is small very often misunderstood country which struggles for her spot in this world. It is an ancient country. It is a country of people who will never give up of their land. It is a country of people who will tell: “No Israel is not what you see on TV”.

Israel is a place where we celebrate life; however, unfortunately many heroes gave their life in order to set their homeland free.

I think I already wrote a lot. No, I will not post photos of people smiling here, firstly because of privacy and secondly, I invite you to come for a visit and meet people because by meeting people you meet the place. For me Israel is not just a place, it is an emotion, emotion which warms my heart, emotion which gives me strength, finally – an emotion which reminds me that hate is not stronger than love.

Welcome to the land of artists, science, agriculture, and technology.

Welcome to the land where people will never stop to defend their right to exist, because Israel had existed centuries ago. Welcome to the land of diversity, different stories.

Welcome to the land where everyone who comes in peace will find their own peace, moreover he/she will learn one more important word about Israel “ahava” which means “love”.

All photographs are taken by me. The photographs are also published on my Instagram profile: _slavica_milosevic_
