Israeli government destroys a Jew’s home, again

When there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you. Unfortunately, Israel has an enemy within — its own government. A government that preys on Jews who have the audacity to stand up for and claim their rights as Jews in the Land of Israel.

Jews who stand up for their rights are seen as a threat to the Israeli government. Why? Because Jews who stand up for their rights disrupt the status quo. And what exactly is the status quo of the State of Israel?   To appease Arabs. And how does the State of Israel appease Arabs?  By suppressing the rights of their own Jewish citizens.

Last week the Israeli government sent a message to Jews who dare to upset the status quo in the area the world refers to as the West Bank, a.k.a. Judea and Samaria, in the non-revisionist, non-propaganda world.

The Israeli government took its fury out on the Sagi Kaisler family. Kaisler had the audacity to build a home on undisputed Israeli land in the village of Kudah in southern Samaria. As a member of the Samaria Settler Committee, Kaisler has worked for years on behalf of the communities of Judea and Samaria. His work got the attention of the Israeli government. Apparently, he went too far in disrupting the status quo. The government decided to pay him back. They demolished his home.

Defense Minister Ya’alon ordered the demolition by using a “Disruptive Use Order” despite the fact that the Levy Report suggested that Israel stop using “Disruptive Use Orders” entirely. However, the report has been ignored, and the orders remain legal. MK Moshe Feiglin, who ardently stands up for the rights of Jews in Judea and Samaria, described his disdain for the “Disruptive Use Order” by saying,  “The logic behind the Disruptive Use Order is that the Land of Israel belongs to the Arabs and that the Jews’ presence there is disruptive. For that reason, no proofs are needed for its implementation. No legal procedure is required. It is enough to announce, ‘You are bothering me – get out of here!'”

Which aptly describes the hasty demolition of Kaisler’s home; Kaisler, a Jew was bothering someone – so the Israeli government destroyed his home. Kaisler had all the permits needed to build his home. Yet his, a Jew’s, home was both disruptive to the Israeli government’s appeasement of Arabs and was bothersome to Arabs, hence it was destroyed.

The destruction was captured on video. Notice how the government didn’t even give the family ample time to move and store their belongings. The government simply swept in, did their despicable deed, and left the family in literal ruins.

And to think that Ya’alon called for John Kerry to “leave Israel alone.”  What hypocrisy. It is destructive Israeli government officials, such as Ya’alon, who need to leave Israel alone.
