Just Another Chance

After reading Mike Lumish’s op-ed on David Harris-Gershon, I just can’t stop thinking. Honestly, what can you get for the children of the terrorist who almost killed your wife? Why not give them, another chance?

Be creative. For example, kids like science. Why not give them a chemistry set so they can start exploring the wonders of nature? Ignite their curiosity. Give them a head start for a career to last a lifetime (until the bomb goes off) .

Science too theoretical? Why not a set of butcher knives? They are practical. Useful. I hear that Amjad and Hakim Awad , the murderers of Fogel family are endorsing a set.

The t- shirt with the visage of Dalal Mughrabi printed on it, from the coastal road terror attack might not be a good idea. They probably have a whole shelf of them from going to EU funded summer camps on special scholarships reserved for orphans.

Talking about orphans. Why not a dartboard with a print of Bibi Netanyahu as a target. Something like “You Murdered and you Inherited” or David Tartakover’s poster. You know , “We won’t forget and we won’t forgive”. If Harris-Gershon is like any good Leftist
Jew, he probably has an extra one at home that he isn’t using.

Of course, for the more cerebral children you can get a book. Not Mein Kampf. They have that already. Why not “The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine“ by Ilan Pappe? Kids need to be inspired, to be challenged. If they can’t find justification to kill Jews settlers in the Koran then perhaps they need to branch out and explore new sources.

Am I facetious? Harris-Gershon believes that Jews lack sensitivity and compassion towards the Palestinians. He believes that after going through the horrors of the Holocaust, the Jews of Israel are now committing our own crimes, a “mini-Holocaust” against Arabs and Muslims. No matter that this is all a load of manure, for the number of Palestinians has practically quadrupled since 1967. I object to Harris-Gershon’s “right” to judge how I should be reacting to my People being murdered.

I am pretty mellow, but if someone “steals” my parking space when I try parking at the Super-Sol, I get annoyed. If I were in some shetl and some Cossack killed half the Jews there I would be incensed. So how am I to feel about having a two-thirds of European Jewry murdered? As if all this sh-t hasn’t been going on for the last two thousand years in Christian lands and in Muslim lands. Even the friggin Zoroastrians couldn’t let us be.

Now it is payback time. Not that I advocate that if you have a bad day at the office that you can then kick your dog, or the neighbor’s dog, or any dog. No. I have limits. All I want is the right to return to the lands of our ancestors and to settle on untitled lands. Must of been something like that written down in a treaty somewhere. If some, excuse me for saying it, goy, thinks he can now change the rules after two thousand years and prevent me from living in Shiloh, well, nyet to that.

So who cares about some neurotic Jew who went to therapy because his wife was injured in a bombing attack? He could have spent hours of therapy in a darkened room masturbating and reading Buber for all I care. Someone nuts like him is going to tell me how to run my life? He went all the way to Silwan to meet the family of a murderer and discovered that “Palestinians are not monsters. The kids are orphans and the wife is a widow”. How Banal. Was he expecting dinosaurs?

If I could give some advice to Gershon-Harris’s wife , I’d suggest she find someone, a man mensch, who instead of wallowing in his own self pity, would be a tad more supportive emotionally. If she doesn’t want to dump him ( now he is loaded with book royalties), she could at least look for a lover or paramour. After all, I understand that her husband is the forgiving type.
