Tel Aviv, IL –   From 16th -23th November took place the “Global Entrepreneurship Week” in 150 countries. During this week, many events were organized related to the Startup world. In Israel, Tel Aviv, for example, welcomed a lot of Israeli Entrepreneurs who shared their experiences in all the bars of the city during the event “Entrepreneurship on tap”.

The initiative is from the GEW IL, MIT Forum Israel, in cooperation with Tel Aviv University. The goal is to learn from the successes and the failures of Entrepreneurs. I could experience it during the first day at Joey’s Bar and last day at Tangier bar. It was such an interesting event.

At the Joey’s bar, the CEO and co-founder of Nebula, Yuval Cohen, did a speech on the “Startup success algorithm. Is there even such a thing?” Yuval Cohen graduated at Tel Aviv University and created Nebula, a company engaged in the field of cloud computing solutions, which  recently acquired $ 100 million by the company ServiceNow USA! Yuval previously served as VP R & D at Radlan, which was acquired by Marvell chip giant. After the acquisition, he was appointed director of the local operations of Marvell.

At the Tanger bar, the Founder and CEO of Global CityHila Oren, talked about her personal experience as a woman Entrepreneur. She was a subsidiary of Tel Aviv-Jaffa and created StartupCity to realize many Urban strategic plans to investors, entrepreneurs, tourists and urban platform that connects students with private enterprise.
She Graduated from Tel Aviv University and she is currently doing PHD  in branding cities

All the entrepreneurs talked to us about how they got the idea of their startup and the difficulties they faced with in the beginning.  The atmosphere was very unique, it seems that we were all close friends who shared experiences around beers.

Gil Shourka, National Coordinator of GEW IL , concluded this Global Entrepreneurship Week by saying “Israel hold more than 300 events during the week, Tel Aviv hosted 20 events on the bar with the best entrepreneurs who shared ther experiences to the crowd”
