Los Angeles Israeli goes missing, turns up at Aroma Cafe

Ronen Golan recently turned up at Aroma Café on Sunset Blvd. after being reported missing on Saturday night. He had gone out partying with some friends and simply vanished.

Local Israeli DJs were contacted and many claimed to have seen Golan at one of their parties throughout the evening. DJ Ayal said, “I was spinning all de night. All de night, I gonna have it for you.”

When asked again about seeing Golan, DJ Ayal simply rambled on again about spinning something and partying. DJ Eldad also said, “We gonna have it for you! All de girls, dey gonna be here! All de night! All de night my friend!”

A third DJ, DJ Moshik was also spoken to and had this to say. “I dono from what you are talking. I gonna have it for all de night!!!”

Friends became concerned when Golan disappeared behind a cloud of smoke from local Israelis smoking just outside on the patio area of one of the clubs where he was last spotted. Golan’s close friend Asaf, who goes by “Shuki” for reasons no one is quite sure of, lost sight of him just after eleven PM and he decided to go to another club to look for him.

To Shuki’s relief, some time later, he was told Golan stumbled up to Aroma Cafe intoxicated but OK. The following morning after sobering up, Golan apologized to his friends and family, and actually credited a new waiter at Aroma Café who he yelled at, for saving him. “I wandered by drunk and heard a waiter without an Israeli accent and became really angry. I thought the guy didn’t really work there. I started screaming and they called DJ Yoav and he calmed me down.”

While non- Israeli waiters at Aroma Cafes throughout the city are rare, they do exist. For one night at least, Golan was happy to find one.
