Maria (Sound of Music)

“She sits on stoops, her knees askew, Manolos on her feet

She dances on the roof, her hands upraised, her hair flung in her eyes

And underneath her designer duds, a K-Klan heart skips a beat

I’ve even heard singing a rap reverie

She’s always first on Twitter, from climate change to refugee

She’s always first to know-it-all except for every fee

I hate to have to say it, but I very firmly feel Alexandria’s not an asset to the mass

I’d like to say a word in her behalf

Alexandria makes me laugh

How do you solve a problem like Alexandria?

How do you find the word that means Alexandria?

A flibbertijibbet! A will-o’-the wisp! A clown!”

US Congresswoman, Alexandria Cortez-Ocasio is not a clown.

She was educated in the New York City School progressive school system and has the worksheet (not textbook) view of the world resulting  in a  shallow understanding of history, science and everything post Enlightenment.

While attending Boston University she interned at Senator Ted (Lion of the Senate) Kennedy’s office where she learned the art of identity politics at the foot of the master.

She is an arm-waving, agitated bug-eyed Hispanic Elizabeth Warren and self created “expert” on all topics. Something is in the news? AOC has a response, usually an insulting trigger-words wielding, low information, polemic, Antifa-light one.

There is no hope of changing her.

Her jive got her this far.

She can only be stopped at the ballot box. If she is, her followers will refloat her as a talk show guest hosting her own show.

Yes, a guest. Can anyone visualize her asking anyone a question? People who think they know everything don’t ask questions except rhetorical ones.
