No need to buy into the casualty stats from a genocidal organization like Hamas
Records show it’s fairer to question Chamas’ numbers than IDF’s behavior
Chamas has been swelling casualty numbers daily and has now reached 16,000 people. It does not differentiate between civilians and terrorists. They claim that 6,100 children were killed. Let’s see what that is about. Press organizations and even the US government quote this as facts.
The number of child deaths needs to be divided in half since a child is someone younger than 19. Many of the terrorists are child warriors trained from the cradle in Jew-hatred and a wish to martyr themselves. Therefore, the 6,000, no doubt, are 3,000 children and 3,000 terrorists.
Children form roughly 50% of the 1,7 M civilians in Gaza. Then, some 3,000 child casualties mean another 3,000 grownup civilian deaths. OK?
The Chamas numbers of the total and the child deaths leave 10,000 not accounted for. I assume that in Gaza, the number of women and men is about equal, so each 25% of the populace. In accordance with the child numbers, there must be 1,500 women deaths and as many male civilians. That brings the total of dead civilians to 6,000 and terrorists to 10,000.
However, Israel claims to have killed 5,000 terrorists in Gaza. It makes sense to suspect Chamas of multiplying the number at least by a factor of 2 since, really, their numbers show they make it up as they go. How so?
Recall the ‘massacre’ when ‘Israel bombed a Gaza hospital, killing over 500 people’? It was not Israel, it was not the hospital, and no one was hurt.
YouTube age-restricted this clip for its ‘graphic or violent imagery, viewer discretion advised.’ It’s Pallywood theater with a lying commentary. A warning should not be about its fake blood but its baseless blood libels.
Another problem of the Chamas bookkeeping is 16,000 deaths but no graves and no wounded. They sometimes claim tens of thousands of wounded, but where are they? All of Gaza has 3,000 hospital beds. Let’s be generous and guess some 5,000 wounded bystanders, then the number of accidentally killed must be around 1,000, not 10,000. That would mean 500 kids. On Oct. 7, Chamas murdered 400 non-combatant Israeli kids.
In previous battles, Chamas always provided names, ages, and sexes. Then, you had more parameters to calculate the number of civilians. But when you make up at least 50% of the dead, creating identities is a bit harder.
AFP claims (and a very cautious Israeli news outlet, a day later, seems to agree) that the IDF asserted that on every terrorist, 2 civilians were killed.
An IDF spokesperson seems to have confirmed this for CNN and added this might be a record low in collateral damage (unintended harm) in military world history in urban fighting. And that 5,000 terrorists were killed. Yet, strangely, ‘for now,’ he shied away from giving a total casualty number.
Stats of deaths | My Calculation | IDF/CNN | AFP/IDF | Chamas
Everyone | 8,000 – 6,000 | 15,000? | 15,000 | 16,000
Of them terrorists | 5,000 | 5,000 | 5,000 | ?
Of them civilians | 3,000 – 1,000 | 10,000? | 10,000 | ?
Of which children* | 1,500 – 500 | ? | ? | 6,000 |
* Non-combatant
The IDF also has revealed it employs high-tech mapping software to try to reduce non-combatant deaths. Of course, antisemitic inclinations made that into: “Israel deploys killer AI systems for military operations; know the dangers posed by AI warfare”! That’s neither intelligent nor artificial.
Repeatedly, I find non-Jews in foreign media interview who—I believe not maliciously—express ‘understanding’ for Israelis ‘being in a rage’ after the massacre of October 7, and, therefore, unable to be careful inside Gaza. Believe me, anger and getting even are the last things on our minds. And our soldiers are thoroughly trained not to retaliate ever. Most Israelis just want a good life; hating Antisemites in return won’t help; neither would deliberately hurting innocent people help us. It might be hard to assume, so I tell you: We only want to live in peace and safety. Just like almost no Jew ever tried to pay back the Nazis or the Spanish, Polish, German, Austrian, or Russian Peoples in whose lands so many of us were mass murdered. Peace through deterrence and defeat is all we seek. No need to believe me. Listen to our funerals. With broken hearts, we bury our most loved not with angry shouts for revenge but with sad and grateful tears.
Chamas Human Shields (a War Crime) History is History
About citizens ‘killed by the IDF’: Please remember that the main cause of their death is not Israel. 1. Chamas terrorists use them as human shields, both literally walking around and resting, surrounding themselves with kids and fighting from the midst of population centers, residential areas, safe zones, mosques, hospitals, schools, and kindergartens. It’s the IDF that tries to get them out of harm’s way—and then is blamed for it. (Like the IDF doesn’t loot or rape, prompting the PA to say: “It’s racism; they don’t fancy our women”!) 2. Chamas built shelters for its terrorists, not the population. Just like it steals food aid, electricity, and water from the citizens (war crimes). 3. Some of the Gaza deaths come from rockets and bullets indiscriminately fired and mines from Chamas. They really don’t care about suffering or death of their own population—but they’re scared to suffer themselves! 4. While Chamas targets Israeli civilians, the IDF will not. There is a big difference between genocide and collateral damage.
One doesn’t blame victims, and especially not war crime victims. So, the following is not about blaming. But in a sense, the super humanistic rules of the IDF over the decennia have ‘trained’ Chamas to assume they were invincible as long as they surrounded themselves with children. So often, our planes aborted attacks on major terrorist leaders because, suddenly, some innocent bystanders entered the crosshairs. In the end, these monsters walked the streets inside a hedge of 8-year-old ‘bodyguards.’
After the 10/7 pogrom, Israel understood the Talmud’s Sages’ warning that if one is nice to wicked, one ends up being wicked to the nice. Ironically, had Israel been ruthless from the start, these mass murderers possibly would not have relied so much on the effectiveness of human shields.
Another mistaken expectation by Chamas was that they may hide between the population forever. Israel simply liberated the Chazan hostages by telling them to leave for their own good, and Chamas couldn’t stop them because of all the press coverage—even though most of it is anti-Israel.
Meanwhile, CNN fired deeply anti-Israel columnist Fareed Zakaria but continues to speak from both sides of its mouth by having the network’s chief antisemitic journalist continue her frequent, eager, vile barrages:

Lately, my favorite question of people I meet is: “How do you contribute to the war effort.” So far, everyone had an answer. I do hasbara. And you?
