שֹׁפְטִים וְשֹׁטְרִים תִּתֶּן לְךָ בְּכָל שְׁעָרֶיךָ
Judges and Police should be placed
by you at your gates. (Deut 16:18)

The “gates” of a person are
the seven orifices in his head
through which pass all sensory phenomena
which need to be judged and pre-screened
to prevent negative influences from
entering the body and
causing damage to the soul.

Do not probe into the future
and follow astrologers and fortune-tellers.
Rather accept that whatever happens
or will happen is all Divine Providence.
