Plight of the Palestinian Arabs

Unlike the Palestinian Jews, the Palestinian Christians, and the Palestinian Bahai, who chose to become citizens with the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948, the Palestinian Arabs rejected that opportunity. Consequently, they faced a self-imposed dilemma as to where they could live, since no Arab or Muslim nation would allow them to immigrate to their countries. As a result, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in 1950 established what would normally be temporary refugee camps but unfortunately it allowed the Palestinian Arabs to languish in them for the last 75 years. Their plight has befallen them because the UN, conspiring with their Muslim and Arab brothers, refused to permit them to live in their counties. I have provided an additional perspective on this issue as stated by a fellow pro-Israel advocate, Nelson Berman.

“If you notice there are millions of Muslim refugees who have been relocated throughout the world due to conflicts in Muslim countries. There is however one glaring exception, that of Palestinian Arabs. They are not allowed to leave. They must remain in limbo by being confined to refugee camps thus allowing their grievance with Israel to fester onto subsequent generations.

The US with their [former] long-standing anti-Israel State Department, the [current and long standing] anti-Israel UN and the Arab nations have all conspired in this obsession to keep Israel bogged down with the Palestinian issue.”
