Poem for Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III

I am inspired by well-known American poet, Amanda Gorman, to write this poem and song titled “Everlasting” in honor of Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III.

EVERLASTING: Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III
Queen Elizabeth II will always be the one
When you don’t know where to run
Her faith will shine like the healing sun

Queen Elizabeth inspires God’s healing
Blessing your life with wonderful feeling

¡Oh! Queen Elizabeth, can’t you see
God says, “you were everything to me”
Your faith is everlasting

King Charles III, your faith is strong
Guiding Britain, you cannot go wrong
In God’s powerful hands is where you belong

When King Charles walks, he is never alone
God loves him like his own

As the Royal Family reaches out in the night
God will send his healing light
To make everything feel alright

¡Oh! King Charles, can’t you see
God says, “you are everything to me”
Your faith is everlasting

Our past and our future now unite
As one reign passes into the light
The House of Windsor keeps shining bright

Kind and compassionate Royal Family
In your arms, the people are truly free
May God shine his light upon thee

Divine glory is everlasting

Our future is guided by our dear king
Our king makes our hearts sing
Hope in what the future brings
God’s power is everlasting

This song and poem is dedicated to the entire Royal Family, the British People, the Commonwealth, and the people of the world. May God bless us all with faith, hope, charity, and everlasting life.
