Pro-Jewish, Pro-Israel American Leader

Future US senator, Barack Mandela, served in the United States Army after 9/11

In 2024, I plan to be a United States Senator from California. I will be the first former Israel Defense Forces soldier to be elected to the United States Senate.

I am a former attorney and serious community organizer who maintains well-developed expertise in government, business, education, law, military, and international security issues. Licensed to practice law in the state of California, I graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law.

Aside from his professional interests, I have diverse personal interests:

I enjoy viewing and playing sports. In high school, I played on the freshman basketball team. My favorite sports include: basketball, American football, baseball, korfball, soccer, tennis, golf, track and field, gymnastics, volleyball, equestrian, rugby, and cricket.

I have traveled to a dozen countries. In particular, I was impressed with a tour of the Netherlands (Holland) where I viewed palaces and government buildings. Since my trip to the Netherlands, I have been a fan of Dutch football (soccer). In 2013, I traveled to Jordan where I volunteered at Za’atari refugee camp. Za’atari is a United Nations supported camp for Syrian Civil War refugees.

As a native of Southern California who grew up near Hollywood, I was introduced to the world of film at a young age. My favorite films include: Titanic, The Matrix, Avatar, Lord of the Rings, Minority Report, In Time, Zootopia, Moana, The Lion King,Father Stu, and Avengers: Infinity War. My favorite actors are Angelina Jolie, Samuel L. Jackson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves, and Denzel Washington.

I grew up as a fan of Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Guns N’ Roses, The Beatles, Metallica, U2, David Bowie, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Radiohead, and Garth Brooks. Today, I am a fan of musical artists such as: Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Motionless in White, Sugarland, Rihanna, Beyonce, Jay Z, Eminem, Breaking Benjamin, Nirvana, and Justin Timberlake. My favorite songs are “Settlin’” by Sugarland and “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana.

I am an ambassador of Israeli culture, art, and music. My role is to promote Israel artists such as: Aviv Geffen, Omer Adam, Eyal Golan, Mashina, Shiri Maimon, Rita, Yehudit Ravitz, Boaz Sharabi, Shalom Hanoch, and Sarit Hadad. By supporting Israeli culture, I move beyond political conflict and security issues.

As a United States Senator, I will promote Jewish values in Congress at the federal, state, and local levels. I am a friend of Zion.
