Radical Islam and the Destruction of Civilization
“I had faith in Israel before it was established; I have faith in it now.” [President Harry Truman May 1948]
“Israel must recognize that it can’t settle and occupy Palestinian land.” [President Barrack Obama, September 2016]
“The greatest human ideal of justice is only as good as the character of those who administer it, existing only if its guardians are devotees to integrity and fairness.” [Sidney Powell, a US Attorney, who prosecuted about 350 criminal cases].
Since the horrors of Oct. 7, many Israelis have begun to understand how unjust and destructive our legal system has become, including, for example, the shocking restrictions imposed on our soldiers during battle. According to media reports, soldiers are forbidden from shooting terrorists unless they are “officially associated with Hamas.”
This absurd rule persists despite clear video footage from Oct. 7 that clearly shows so-called “noncombatants” participating in the massacre, kidnappings and captivity of innocent Israelis.
Out soldiers’ hands are tied, as they are only allowed to target those formally identified as Hamas members! In perhaps the most twisted and outrageous actions of all, investigators are calling released terrorists in Gaza to question them about their time in an Israeli prison after a jailed terrorist claimed IDF soldiers had raped him.
This resulted in the arrest of 10 IDF reserve soldiers accused of rape based solely on the word of one barbaric Hamas member, with zero proof!!This baseless accusation spread like wildfire around the world, tarnishing the reputation of Israel and the IDF on the world stage and infuriating the Israeli public.
Those who riot, accept Hamas, Hezbollah, and even Iran are surely in need of an education on “The Legacy of Islamic Anti-Semitism” edited by Andrew G. Bostom A medical doctor by profession, he applies the scientific method and bases his conclusions on the data—all as scholars used to.
He asks, “What is the primary impetus behind Islam’s antipathy for Jews? To separate Jews as distinct from Israelis is absurd. Further, Muslim hostility for Jews has little to do with circumstances or politics.
Koranic verse, hadith after hadith, castigate, condemn and curse the Jews; they are called ”corrupters”, “exploiters,” “distorters”, “prophet-killers,” and more, most infamously, “pigs and monkeys,” Such slanderous words are contained in the Koran [the eternal words of Allah] and the Hadith [the words of Islam’s prophet].
In short, were Israel to disappear tomorrow—indeed, had it never been founded—Jews would still, according to the eternal words of Islam be deemed the same. Nearly 200 pages of the book document Muhammad’s animus—often manifested in bloody detail by his biographers—toward the Jews.
The value of Dr. Bostom’s book is that it is a vast collection of important documents- what historians have traditionally prioritized—all of which make clear that enmity for Jews has a firm grounding in the Islamic tradition, with its own rationale and motifs.
Still, one should not conflate Islam’s mandates with the beliefs of the average “Muslim”; nor should all of these texts be construed as representative of all Muslims. The Foreword [summarized] for the given book is provided by Ibn Warraq. He commences with, “Is Islamic anti-Semitism only a modern phenomenon?”
in answer he considers the case of Amartya Sen, a celebrated economist and winner of the Nobel Prize. Here is how Sen treats the “Myth of Maimonides.” Twice Sen tells us in his book, “Identity and Violence” that when ‘the Jewish Philosopher Maimonides was forced to emigrate from an intolerant Europe in the 12th century; he found a tolerant refuge in the Arab world.
“I do not know how to characterize this misinterpretation of history—‘willful,’ ‘grotesque’, ‘dishonest’, or ‘typical’?” One reviewer who did object to Sen’s ‘potted history’, which ‘is tailored for interfaith dialogues’ was Fouad Ajami in the “Washington Post” who reminded Sen:
“This will not do as history. Maimonides, born in 1135, did not flee ‘Europe’ for the ‘Arab world’. He fled his native Cordoba in Spain, which was then in the grip of religious-political terror, choking under the yoke of a Berber Muslim dynasty, the Almohads that was to snuff out all that remained of the culture of convivencia and made the life of Spain’s Jews [and of the free spirits among its Muslims ] utter hell.
Maimonides and his family fled the fire of the Muslim city-states in the Iberian Peninsula to Morocco and then to Jerusalem. Deliverance came only in Cairo—the exception, not the rule, its social peace maintained by the enlightened Saladin.
Moses Maimonides [1135-1204], Jewish rabbi, physician, and philosopher, was fleeing the Muslims, the intolerant Almohads who conquered Cordoba in 1148. The Almohads persecuted the Jews, and offered them the choice of conversion to Islam, death, or exile.
After a brief sojourn in Morocco and the Holy Land, Maimonides settled in Fostat, Egypt where he was physician to the Grand Vizier Alfadhil, and possibly Saladin, the Kurdish sultan. The Epistle to the Jews of Yemen gives a clear view of what Maimonides thought of Muhammad the Prophet. “The Madman “as he calls him, and of Islam, generally.
This is what Maimonides wrote: “You write that the rebel leader in Yemen decreed compulsory apostasy for the Jews by forcing the Jewish inhabitants of all the places he had subdued to desert the Jewish religion just as the Berbers had compelled them to do in Maghreb [i.e. Islamic West]
For these are evil tidings, “and who so ever heareth of them, both his ears tingle.”[I Samuel 3:11]. Maimonides points out those persistent prosecutions of the Jews by the Muslims amounts to forced conversion.
Many medieval Jewish writers commonly referred to Muhammad as ‘ha-meshugga’, Madman—the Hebrew term, as Norman Stillman notes being ‘pregnant with connotations.
Ibn Warraq’s conclusion on Page 25 reads as follows:
“Until Islamic countries acknowledge the realities of anti-Jewish persecution in their history, there is no hope of combating the continuing hatred of Jews in modern times, from Morocco to Jerusalem.”
Given the entire above, one has to wonder why Leftists actually support the likes of our enemies. Biden on more than one occasion has funneled large sums of dollars to Iran!!. Dennis Prager has several names for Jews who suffer from self-hatred such as non Jewish Jew and a non-American American or Sick Jews.
In an article posted by the Jewish Journal, Prager commences with “It turns out that the Jews who side with those who wish to eradicate the one Jewish state and slaughter as many Jews as possible are in fact unique.”
Further, he recognizes that not all Jews side with the would-be exterminators of the Jewish people for psychological reasons. Many Jews who are in the pro-Palestinian, Israel-hating camp are there for ideological reasons.
How should one understand Kamala Harris acceptance of Hamas? Paul Stramer published Major General Higginbotham US Marines editorial on the “Communist History of VP Kamala Harris” dated 22-7-2024.Trevor Loudon’s “Stealth-Kamala Harris’s Communist Roots” speaks for itself.
In the latter, Loudon, illuminates a network of communist affiliations that have propelled Harris’ career. From her parents involvement in a group that admired communist leaders like Fidel Castro and Che Guevara, to her relationship with Willie Brown, a communist sympathizer, and her mentorship of individuals linked to Maoist communist groups, Kamala Harris’s background reveals long time associations with subversive , anti-American figures.
Kamala Harris was supported throughout her career by Steve Philips, a long time Maoist activist and wealthy Democrat Party influence. In doing so, he did as for Barack Obama, Cory Booker, Stacey Abrams and others.
As a political commentator, Trevor Loudon has written numerous articles about Kamala Harris, detailing her activities when she was previously a presidential and vice presidential candidate. He recalls her association with Marxist friends , Lateefah Simon, Alicia Garza and Karine Jean-Pierre.
There is a commencement to this history. Politico posted, “Ex-ambassador Michael Oren: Obama abandoned Israel. It commences with “President Barack Obama deliberately damaged the relationship between the United States and Israel, according to Israel’s former ambassador to the US.
In reality, Oren wrote in a Wall Street Journal Op-Ed, “only one leader made them deliberately.” Upon entering office, he wrote, ”Obama promoted an agenda of championing the ‘Palestinian’ cause and achieving a nuclear accord with Iran.”
Those policies, Oren wrote would have put him at odds with any Israeli leader. But Obama also abandoned what Oren said were the principles of the country’s relationship, including “no daylight” and “ no surprise..”
Oren cited a 2009 speech by Obama to American Jewish leaders in which he said, “When there is no daylight, Israel just sits on the sidelines and that erodes our credibility with the Arabs.” This statement ignored Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza in 2005 and previous offers of statehood, encompassing nearly the entire West Bank and half of Jerusalem that the “Palestinians” rejected.
On the “no surprises” front, Israel was caught off-guard by not receiving an advance copy of Obama’s May 2009 speech in Cairo in which the president declared that there should be freeze on settlements and asked that Israel accept a two-state solution.
When Israel learned that the US was negotiating “with its deadliest enemy”—Iran —over its nuclear program, he wrote, the daylight “could not have been more binding.”
The anticipated US Presidential, Senate and Congress will determine a positive or negative outcome.
