Republican Party’s complicity enables antisemitism
Former President Trump threatened American Jews on Truth Social, especially with statements like “US Jews have to get their act together and appreciate what they have in Israel-Before is too late.”
How dare he threaten American Jews and the State of Isreal for his gain of getting in power.
This Jew was born and raised in the United States. I served in the United States Army and took an oath to defend the Constitution. I have never been so insulted or felt threatened by my identity as I have been by Trump’s statement. I will not stand for it. I condemn Trump and the silence of the Republican Party. The fact that the Republican party is complicit is enabling antisemitism.
A good portion of the American Jewish community supported the Republican Party for years, including me, before I became a Democrat. The silence is a slap across the face to Republican Jewish constituents. American Jews are just as American as every other American citizen in this country.
I encourage fellow Jews who are Republican to leave the party since the Jewish community no longer has representation. It’s becoming obviously clear that white supremacy is a platform of today’s Republican Party.
President Joe Biden is right to condemn MAGA Republicans with the direction they are going. They have no plans or desires to fix our country’s economy, bring down inflation, or come up with a plan for a healthcare plan.
The only issues they represent are hate, racism, misogyny, and hatred towards LGBTQ.
The silence of the Republican Party will only encourage antisemitism to continue.
The Democratic Party is the only way to move forward in an all exclusive way. The Republicans hate filled views have no place in today’s society. I’m encouraging everyone to vote Democrat for a better United States and for a better world.
