Showing the true antisemitic face of Swedish and British Parties?

Without journalists, the world would be a far worse place.

Swedish Politicians’ Antisemitism Exposed

Journalists for the daily The Expressen and Expo magazine checked the social media output of all Swedish politicians ahead of elections and found regional politicians of the far-Right Swedish Sweden Democrats spewing antisemitic texts. Only a few off jokes but that says enough. Fantastic work!

JTA made a flawed report (the editors are on vacation?), Arutz7 changed the order of the words to give it an authentic look but at least corrected the heading. The Times of Israel worked it into something of value. (Not because they’re my boss. I’ve criticized the TOI when it IMHO deserved it (rarely) and I’m not their subordinate. Plus, they believe in fair criticism.)

In the report, we see beautiful examples of modern antisemitism, as presented and explained in my recent post How to define antisemitism? A guide. (I got only one comment to that blog post and that was from an antisemite. You must hand it to them. There will be antisemitism as long as their zeal outdoes the enthusiasm of people standing up for Jews.)

The “democratic nationalist” party, of course, denies being antisemitic. The litmus test of the SD (not only an abbreviation of Sverigedemokraterna but also of the Nazi Sicherheitsdienst!) will be if they expel these Jews’ haters.

Making fun of the Icon of the Holocaust, Anne Frank and her gassing. She wasn’t gassed but died of typhus in 1945 at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. But the “joke” is not less tasteless for it.
Justifying antisemitism on how bad the Jews would be.
Saying Rothschild and not Jews.
Jews control the economy and have us all enslaved.
Jews milk the Holocaust.
Hitler did not lie about Jews.
International Jewry is thirsting (a reference to drinking blood) for destroying Europe, because not Germany started the WW II but the Jews did – accusing the Jews of the atrocities Non-Jews committed.
One of their lawmakers had called for action against “control of media by any family or ethnic group,” referring specifically to a prominent publisher who happened to be a Jew. Without that reference, she would have been clear too.
Our party is not antisemitic because we have Jewish members.

There is nothing new under the sun (or: in the shade of the closet). And as long as antisemitism is not challenged enough, there will not be. Especially not for the Gentile world, whose problem this really is – as I explained.

I did notice something new for me, though. These antisemites mentioned Jews in the singular. Not only blaming the actions of one Jew on all Jews. Anne Frank, Rothschild, Jewry stood for all Jews. They are so powerful, they are like one person. If we would only be as our enemies see us: united, powerful and rich. Where can I sign up?

Several lengthy new news reports about the SD are a bit unclear if the SD is, will be or should be Jew-friendly. It seems to be enthusiastic about Israel. Well, so is Wilders’ Dutch anti-immigrant party. But when Jews in the Netherlands needed his vote in parliament for ritual slaughter or circumcision, he went against them because he wanted to teach the Muslims a lesson. Such xenophobe parties often “love” Israel because they perceive it as anti-Islam. They assume that if Muslims are against Israel, we must be against them too. (Also Christians often ‘love” Israel and the Jews, but only because they want us to fit their agenda, to play a role in their script.) That is not support for Israel, of course. It’s like someone who says, “I love fish” and then precedes eating it.

UK Labour Continues as Before

Meanwhile, across the Channel, UK Labour (in anti-Zionist trouble for some time) finally agreed to combat antisemitism in the party in accordance with the full European definition of it, including examples of anti-Zionism, but at the same time will uphold the “freedom of expression on Israel or the rights of Palestinians.”

This is like the Brits who after WW I gave away Palestine to the Jews and the Arabs, not for nothing for centuries called the Perfidious Albion.

Naive Jews at home and abroad rushed to applaud the double-talk, expressing cautious hope for un-ambivalent action and apologies for past glorification of Palestinian terror. Pull the other leg – it has bells on it. Not all Jews are naive – by far. Thank you for small favors.

Meanwhile, untruthful anti-Zionist Haaretz tried to sell this news as a turn-around, headlining a Reuters’ report of this news as a “Blow to Corbyn.” Any of their headlines about Israel or Zionism is a lie, always.

Nothing has changed yet and nothing will. What is needed is a steadfast sea change, not a half-hearted statement about the Oppression of Jews.

I’ve argued before that the UK Labour leader is not an antisemite, but his words surely must appeal to others who are.

Instead of trying to find proofs of his far-Left antisemitism (only to find anti-Zionism), try to find such signs among lower-rank Labourites (as was done about the far-Right Swedish SD – see above}. And then demand that they will be expelled, just as I advocate above about the SD. That would show Labour’s true colors. Just, don’t hold your breath.

This all ain’t over ’till it’s over.

I find most refreshing the idea to have a new Leftwing UK party that would stand up against social injustice, antisemitism and anti-Zionism.

Meanwhile, fears that Corbyn would become Prime Minister seem greatly exaggerated. Britain will not elect a far-Left PM – mark my words.
