The ‘Stupid Pill’ Supply Situation

A major problem that has dogged Israel during this century and much of the last one consists of a certain worldwide preconception; how its military pre-eminence in the region is viewed when contrasted against those forces having hostile intent towards its presence and even its very existence.

For a nation that can call upon such a vast array of weaponry, from the humble rubber bullet right through to nuclear-tipped missiles, any claim to underdog or victim status will always be a hard sell to a somewhat cynical world. This might explain why the Israeli position is so often taken to task while the agendas of those hostile to it are soft-pedalled to a greater or lesser extent.

So, can the tilt in the playing field here be levelled out in any meaningful manner? Will there ever come a time when a more even-handed approach must prevail, where a universal policy, replete with sufficient checks and balances, clears the field of all other contenders?

Hasn’t everyone been taking these damned pills marked ‘stupid’ for far too long?

Then let’s stop and thereby release the potential that exists within all of us to take control of our destiny and work towards its future betterment.
