Phones Beeping,
Backpacks Zipped, swung with a Swish onto a broad back,
A kiss, the Gasp from a hug tighter then tight,
Does a head make a sound as it turns back for one last look?

Reporters Reporting, and Weeping,
Sirens and more Sirens,
Booms,

A Knock on a door,
Falling to the floor,
Wailing,
The sound of Tearing Cloth,
The sound of Shoveling Dirt,
The Mumbles of shiva,

Rallies,
Prayers,
Does Hope make a sound?
Cheers on a beach on a Saturday afternoon,
Despair and devastation on a Sunday morning,
