Stop talking “truce”, choose between all-out peace or all-out war

Two Hamas rockets hit Israel during the current 72-hour truce. 

Making this the 7th consecutive ceasefire that the racist organisation has broken.

What’s more, the very second the scheduled 72-hour ceasefire ended, more rockets were fired from Gaza into civilian Israeli communities.

But all is not lost: Hamas says it is willing to continue truce negotiations provided it is allowed to continue killing civilian Jews via random rocket fire during the negotiations.

That’s all right then.

One understands the logic behind making risky compromises in exchange for peace.

But acceding to the demands of an openly genocidal Islamist terrorist group with global aspirations in exchange for a mere truce?

A truce is merely a temporary lull in ongoing hostilities. That’s all. A respite from battle during which to rest, regroup, restock with weapons.

Who in their right mind would advocate such an arrangement with a murderous group, particularly when recent history over the past 4 weeks reveals that this group has broken seven (7) such truces?

Oh right.

The UN, EU & US.

That’s who would advocate such an arrangement.

Because for the time being, they themselves are not facing the vicious civilian-targeting onslaught of dedicated human rights abusers flying the Islamist and jihad banners.

Not, that is, until the horrors of Islamist and jihadist victories spread beyond wholesale massacres by IS barbarians on Christian and Yazidi minorities in faraway Iraq, not until the targeting of civilians by IS’s Hamas allies spreads into the Christian heartland of Europe.

THAT’s when the world community will sit up and take notice.

By which time it will be too late.

Because by then, the Islamists will be too strong to need a “truce”.

The only alternative to true peace (and its attendant risks) is annihilation of the genocidal racists who see a truce as a stepping-stone to absolute victory. Total destruction, cost what it may. In order to prevent the inexorable next round of hositilities when they will be better equipped, better armed, better trained. Hostilities that will result in more Israeli suffering and way, way more suffering in Gaza.

The highly paid, publicly funded political bigwigs in their plush offices in the UN, EU & US may be content to party while doom creeps ever nearer, but the Jewish state cannot afford to commit collective suicide just to postpone the ultimate death of democracy everywhere else.

So enough talk about a “truce”. Talk disarmament, genuine peace and long-term development and growth.

Or face more death and destruction.

We know which alternative Hamas prefers. They say so clearly in Arabic, Hebrew and English.

And there has to be someone in the lavish UN, EU and US offices of power who at least understands plain English.
