Stop the Word Association
I am on a mission to stop the word association of apartheid and Israel. The more we use it the more it is being used against us. Recently I’ve been seeing everywhere on social media sites that all us Zionists are so adamant on trying to prevent Israel from being called an apartheid state yet we every time the word association starts to dye off, it is us who is once again using the word.
Let us get a bit of background of Apartheid first. Apartheid by definition is the policy or system which separates and governs a country or state by segregation of race. His word came about in South Africa from the years 1948 when the National party was placed into power until 1994 when South Africa had its first democratic election. This system separated white, Black Indian and all races from each other, ranking “White” as supreme and “Black” as being the lowest forms of humanity. People were not allowed to use the same transport, areas, roads, benches, parks, beaches and anything else as someone of a different race.
If we look at Israel today nowhere is this found. Yes perhaps there is a border between Gaza and Judea and Samaria but it’s called Border Security just as South Africa has a border for Lesotho and Swaziland. If you don’t want to be governed by the laws of a country and prefer to separate yourself then why should the country let you in? but getting back to the point If you go to Israel people are free to get onto whatever bus they want, they can go to any beach (yes there are beaches where men and woman are separated but that’s a religious understanding) you can sit on any bench, walk in any park. People are free in Israel they live side by side. If anything we should call South Africa an apartheid state because there are no Jewish people in Parliament representing us. Our foreign minister has stated clearly that he does not support the state of Israel and has no problems with Israel Apartheid week.
My mission to everyone is that yes, people call us an apartheid state but those are the minorities. It is us who carry on and tell everyone else that they call us Apartheid who makes the word association and therefore we need to stop using this word. They win by getting us all worked up and emotional we just need to just ignore their comments as they have no effect. Look Alicia Keys who recently visited Israel She did not care she Ignored, stood strong and performed like a queen to Israel.
If you see anyone sing this word simply stop them and tell them about my campaign, inform them that we need to stop the word association because as the saying goes: “The first step to recovery starts with you.”
Have a good night everone,
Gary Aberman
