Talk To Me

I talk to the trees – that’s why they put me away

In ground-breaking research, Tel Aviv University team records plants ‘talking’  for first time.

It is not clear if this is the first time the plants have spoken or the first time they have been recorded.

I was not sure if I should write this blog, but I had a chat with some dandelions in my garden and they assured me it was time to speak up.

Of course, some plants have a long history of talking to us humans. The police rely on grasses to tell them about criminal activity.

When making a bet, we should talk to a hedge. A hedge can help prevent a greater loss if future events do not happen as we expect. This is especially important when investing in a hedge fund that uses high risk methods to make large capital gains with borrowed money.
It has been said that the top 15 hedge fund managers earn more than all the kindergarten teachers in the USA. Better than playing with someone else’s children, play with someone else’s money.

Roses are usually quiet, probably working on a thorny problem. We sometimes say Everything’s Coming Up Roses. This seemingly ancient proverb first appeared in the 1959 musical Gypsy but was intended to sound as if it had been around for many years.

(And, for younger readers, the Goon Show was a British radio comedy programme, broadcast by the BBC from 1951 to 1960.)
