I don’t care what anyone’s religious beliefs are. It is really none of my business.

Some of you may not know this, but until a few years ago, I was very anti Muslim. I would rant against Islam, say all Muslims were terrorists, and all Muslims should leave the US. Yeah, I was one of them.

Why was I like that? Why was I judging many by the actions of a few?

Because I was scared. 9/11, terrorist attacks and the media. I felt all Muslims were trying to force their way of life onto others.  Of course, some Muslims do that, but the majority don’t.

I no longer harbor those feelings about Muslims. Some very wise Israelis, through their actions and words have shown me that we all have the right to believe as we wish. Yes, ISRAELIS have shown me that. I would name you all, but the list would be too long.

As scary as this world is for us who are Jewish, these brave people still love their neighbors even if they believe differently. They are making the world a better place.
