The anti-Semitic web is not spun by Donald Trump

This post is not meant to be an endorsement of Donald Trump or any political campaign. Rather it is an attempt to challenge the falsehood that Donald Trump is some kind of rabid anti-Semite.

What’s even more remarkable is that this accusation comes from the Democrat party and its proponents which is more than just a little rich.

Maybe the easiest way to analyse this is from the perspective of someone like me who is non-Jewish for it is perfectly understandable for those who are Jewish to be enraged by Mr Trump’s comments in the past.

But measure a man (or woman) by his deeds and those who surround him as well as those he (or she) wilfully abstains from.

By first glance all of Trump’s kids are married to or dating Jews with his most famous child, Ivanka, actually marrying one and converting to Judaism in 2009. Look also at the fact that Donald Jr is married to Vanesa Hayden who is Jewish as did Eric Trump, all of whom married under a Jewish wedding canopy. Tiffany Trump is also dating a Jewish partner.

Now that’s just family, what about the fact that Donald Trump works with a large number of Jewish individuals, many of whom are staffed in his own organization. Look at his executive vice president and chief financial officer who are both Jewish and what about his deeds? He was a parade marshal at the Salute to Israel march in 2004 and even his campaign speech writer is Jewish alongside Michael Abboud his communications coordinator who is also Jewish. What about his finance chair, Steve Mnuchin, well he is Jewish too!

I’m no Trump surrogate but it looks like to me that Donald Trump was pro-Jewish long before this campaign.

Hillary Clinton calls him a racist, others decry that he must be an anti-Semite but look at his policy positions, all of which represent a bulwark to radical Islam which by its own spirit is a direct threat to Israel and world Jewry.

Trump argues that he can’t allow thousands of unvetted Muslims to come into the US, not least because some  hardliners advocate a radical interpretation of Islam incompatible with western values (anti-American, anti-woman, anti-gay) and more importantly for our purposes Trump has made clear he won’t allow the US to become a place where Jewish people are targeted by radical Islamic preachers advocating hatred and violence towards Israel and Jewish people.

Trump even tweeted about the fact that Obama released hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of aid to Palestinians but scrutinised this by the fact that far too much of this money required for humanitarian assistance is instead being siphoned off to Hamas.

Now it IS laughable for the Democrats and Hillary to criticise Trump for his alleged antisemitism. You might shake your head about this in the first instance. After all she says all the right things at AIPAC meetings, doesn’t she? But the fact remains that Hillary and the Democrats follow the money and the money is followed straight into the dictatorships most hostile to Israel and the existence of Jews.

She follows the money going straight to (and from) the anti-Semitic dictatorships of the Saudis, who gave the Clinton foundation $25m and that’s just from the Kingdom of Saud, what about the personal donations from other sheikhs in Kuwait, Oman and Qatar? Saudi Money funded 20% of her campaign.

No wonder the emails remain secret!

And what about her top aide? Hillary Clinton owes the American people an explanation of the role that she would foresee for her close confidante, Huma Abedin, in a Hillary Clinton administration. And Huma Abedin owes the American people a full accounting of the associations which she and her family have had with any radical Saudi-backed Islamic groups, such as the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs and its co-located Muslim World League, or radical Islamic Saudi individuals such as Abdullah Omar Naseef. It’s not as if Hillary is unaware of Saudi Arabia’s connection to terrorism.

As mentioned earlier, a cable sent under Hillary’s name while she was Secretary of State warned that Saudi Arabian donors “constitute the most significant source of funding to Sunni terrorist groups worldwide” many of whom propagate antisemitism and want to see Israel delivered to oblivion.

Then there is her underhanded role as Secretary of State, pushing for a nuclear equipped Iran, supporting Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood, assisting with the takeover of Egypt and abandoning Iraq to a power vacuum that aided and abetted the rise of Muslim antisemtiism and direct threats to Israel.

The fact is Clinton just might be more anti-Israel than you first thought.
You don’t even need to just look to Clinton. As I contend, look to the Democrats and even under Obama at the promotion of Mohamed Elibiary to senior member of the Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council, which has proven that fact can be stranger than fiction.

Elibiary, a close friend of Shukri Abu Baker, former president of the Holy Land Foundation, an organization which sent huge sums of money to the Hamas terror organization to finance terror activities, has recently tweeted “It is inevitable that [the] Caliphate returns.” Make no mistake, Elibiary is indeed referring to the Caliphate which enforces Sharia law through punishments such as stonings, beheadings and cutting off body limbs. Seemingly indifferent to the horrors imposed by ISIS by non-Sunni Muslims he said on Twitter “Kind of comical watching pundits on some US TV channels freak out about an #ISIS #Caliphate. Easy folks, take deep breath & relax. #Iraq”. Lately, Elibiary has been accused of downloading classified Heartland Security documents and leaking them to the media in an effort to label Texas governor Rick Perry as an Islamophobe. The DHS did not investigate and Elibiary was promoted to senior advisor at the department.

If Elibiary finds reactions to ISIS on TV channels comical, it is far more absurd that he serves on the Homeland Security Council. With so much humor surrounding radical Islamic terror, it remains a question who will have the last laugh.

I conclude by submitting that Trump is not an anti-Semite and that is far too simple a logic to maintain when studying his PR gaffes, look deeper under the surface because the threat to Israel is ideological and you have to wonder to yourself who exactly is funding, propagandizing and specialising in being an apologist for that ideology?
