The Cloud is Everywhere…

On Friday mornings, I work with non-Israeli companies, since it’s a regular workday in other parts of Europe.  I stop around 2 PM and take the balance of the day off.  Recently,  I had back to back calls on Skype with startups in Greece, Poland, and Ukraine.

Cloud is Everywhere2Last week, I have another call with a new startup Hub in Istanbul that is coming online…

They are finding me, or I am connecting with them through events here in Israel, missions that come to connect with the ecosystem, and all the incredible events that happen here.

Recently, Monika Rozalska had me meet with a wonderful group of Polish startups. Last April, Giuseppe Calò Henry Chen Weinstein and Dan Balterintroduced me to a team of Greek startups here for the Tel Aviv Startup Challenge. Oded Barel who runs Siftech in Jerusalem connected me to a Ukrainian ecosystem visiting Jerusalem and other major cities.

Startups from all over the world come here.

They learn.

They connect.

The find mentors to work with and go back “home” to build and create.

It’s not a one way street. Israeli startups are looking to work with their counterparts in other regions of the world as well.

The cloud is everywhere.
