That’s quite a litany of reasons for Israel not to feel best pleased with the performance of its US ally over the course of recent months. But, there again, not everything in life always goes according to plan, an observation made all the more acute when such plans become exposed to a world audience, one harbouring many different points of view on the subject.
Is there then a requirement for the world to adopt a single viewpoint, a universal and unassailable attitude of mind and conscience that would carry all objections before it and proceed towards the culmination of an extraordinary peace process, one that may have been as much as 66 long years in the making?
