But is this really the best game plan that all concerned should be following? A massive build-up of weaponry on both sides is a very dangerous development. What happens when one or other of those in dispute is forced by whatever pressures and circumstances might arise to use such a deadly array of armaments? An escalation then ensues and where it ends must be a result to the detriment of everyone of us.

But is there any other way for these combatants to promote their cause and establish some outcome that would prove much more advantageous to the aims and agendas of all the parties here? – ‘ for those of us with better things to do.’

It’s the 21st century, guys, and certain old techniques and technologies are in dire need of updating. And, most of all, shouldn’t we be including ourselves and our not very efficient ways of thinking in such a renewal?
