With Judaism, as indeed with all other major religions, its adherents are requested to repair the world (Tikkun Olam), not facilitate its breakup into yet smaller pieces still.

In the decades of conflict that have existed between Palestinians and Israelis, so much has been broken that it’s hard to see just where to start with any sort of repairs. As for carrying them out and having confidence in their completion, that prospect seems so far removed from reality that, even with the most optimistic interpretation possible, it could never be offered for serious consideration in the great scheme of things.

Then it may be time to toss a big spanner into that great scheme of things and then see what can be done with whatever might be the result.
