Europe ‘losing patience’ over settlements, says envoy | The Times of Israel   ‘Spain and Italy issue warnings against commercial ties with West Bank, while EU ambassador warns more to follow’

It looks very much as though Israel is losing the PR battle here, certainly insofar as its West Bank policies are perceived by the rest of the world. And claims of anti-Semitic bias and deep-seated hatred for Jews in general may no longer be enough to stem the tide of opposition that continued settlement activity has caused to flood in.

Israel now needs some new cards to play. The notion that it just has to hang in there until the moment has passed and BDS finally becomes unfashionable is like whistling in the dark. Unless a whole new spin can be imparted onto the entire matter, its current trajectory appears to be heading towards a very hard landing zone indeed.

There again, you could fly with this one and need never land at all.
