Part of our humanity is the ‘thought process.’ Indeed, most of the time it constitutes our greatest asset. Sometimes that process is at its very best when, instead of always thinking in a linear or conventional manner, very occasionally, we allow ourselves to make use of its lesser known but often far more powerful lateral function.
Let’s say there exists a serious, longstanding problem and all the standard techniques for addressing it have proved disappointingly unsuccessful and this has been the case for several generations.
The matter remains unresolved, the crisis has deepened and much damage, mental as well as physical, has been the result.
