When technology has become so advanced, then why shouldn’t we all take matters just that one step further and digitise every aspect of the conflict? In this way, very little harm is done, the entire problem transforms itself into either a permanent virtual stalemate or a virtual finality. Both these end-results are infinitely preferable to the very real situation that has been with us these last 66 years and still shows no sign of ending well. Or, indeed, of ever ending at all.
