This may be a result of sorts, some small return on the not very subtle methods used by Israel to induce a discontinuation of rocket attacks and border infiltration from Gaza.

But, in the overall scheme of things, it’s nowhere near the final chapter in this sixty six year-old saga and, certainly, no one should be under any illusions about thinking that it is.

However, it does bring up the subject of a ‘breaking point’ and this concept may well have vital implications, crucial to the long-term interests of both Palestinians and Israelis. Indeed, it might also turn out to be of real and monumental significance to that of humanity in general.

The question that arises then is this: Would it be in any way possible to create an actual ‘breaking point’ in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict itself, a contest that has already saddled the region with its long trail of death and destruction for what seems like forever?

Here is the perfect opportunity to close down the whole business once and for all, to establish a series of ‘breaking-off points,’ any one of which could so easily terminate the present situation in its entirety.

And all it takes is some very basic math skills and a willingness in all of us to try out a new approach to what has ever been a very old problem.

WHY INSIST ON DOING THINGS THE HARD  WAY? BY RISING TO THE OCCASION, WE CAN ALL GET TO WHERE WE WANT TO BE IN A MUCH FASTER TIME AND WITH A LOT LESS BAGGAGE COLLECTED ON THE JOURNEY
