Well, stuff happens and yet the world manages to move on somehow. But does it move on in a better or a worse manner than it did before?

It would seem that things are not shaping up all that well for the current peace process. Indeed, it might have already disintegrated into dust by this time and only the shadow of its former self now chooses to remain.

So what to do? Is it back to the drawing board again, to wait out some more years until the next peace proposal comes off the assembly line? And will that one fare any better than every other that has gone before?

Whatever initiative does eventually see the light of day, I just hope the designers will have included at least one back-up plan in their protege. Otherwise, it will likely meet the fate of so many of its predecessors.

Example of a back-up plan: – ‘ for those of us with better things to do.’

Well, if Merrs. Kerry, Netanyahu, Abbas, Obama, Indyk, Livni, Liberman, Erekat, Bennett and all the king’s horses and all the king’s men cannot put life back into the peace process, then what other alternative is there?
