The EU and UN: Where Stupidity Is a Merit
Let’s put things into perspective so we can secure peace in the Middle East, once and for all:
Iran’s Shia army of Hezbollah has taken over Lebanon by bombing Christians, Sunni Muslims and Druze into submission.
Iran’s Shia army is engaging in a proxy war against Sunni Saudi Arabia in Yemen.
Iran is leading a dangerously naive President Obama by the nose as it continues to pursue its inexorable drive to acquire nuclear weapons.
Iran’s Hezbollah is engaging in all-out massacres in Alawite-led but Sunni-majority Syria, where more than 200,000 civilians have been killed and more than half the nation’s population has been displaced, either internally or abroad.
Sunni al-Shabab is conducting massacres against Christians in Somalia, as is Sunni Boko Haram in Nigeria.
Sunni ISIS is ethnically cleansing, enslaving, trafficking and mass-murdering Yazidis, Christians and non-ISIS Muslims throughout Iraq and Syria.
Sunni Al-Nusra is sometimes battling against Sunni ISIS, sometimes joining forces with ISIS against the minority Alawite regime of Bashar Assad in Syria.
Sunni Hamas, which rules in a judenrein, ethnically cleansed, area known as the Gaza Strip, indoctrinates its children in the art of anti-Semitism and routinely fires missiles into Israeli population centres, from within Arab population centres in Gaza.
Sunni Fatah, which rules in areas of Judea and Samaria that it wants Israel to give them as a gift, carries out stonings, fire-bombings and lynchings of Christians and Jews whenever it comes across them. And routinely beats up, imprisons and kills its Sunni Hamas “partners for peace in the Palestinian coalition government”.
And now Sunni Muslim ISIS is threatening to declare war on Sunni Muslim Hamas because of some disagreement about who was the first to smash up the other’s mosque.
Meanwhile, Fatah’s “President of Palestine”, the Holocaust denier Mahmud Abbas, is currently in the 10th year of his 4-year presidency – with the full backing of the international community.
This is the same international community that dislikes Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has only just managed to get himself re-elected by the narrowest of margins in a rather shaky coalition. By a method we in the West know by the quaint term “democracy”. A process that Britain also went through yesterday, May 7th. The British PM also just managed to get himself re-elected by a narrow margin, using the same tactic: democracy.
Yet guess who, out of all the above, is the target of the EU, the UN, the US? Guess who these august bodies criticise from morning to night? Guess why the EU is voicing “desperation” over the lack of progress in “peace talks for Palestine”?
Yup, you guessed right.
The Prime Minister of the Jewish State of Israel.
Because he leads the Jewish State of Israel, governed by its democratically elected leaders including Arab Muslim, Arab Christian and Druze politicians, judges, police officers, military officers, diplomats and educators.
Puzzled?
Don’t be. It’s how the EU, UN and US work. They truly believe that ignoring the legion human rights excesses in the Arab world and harshly criticising the world’s only Jewish state will actually boost peace.
The EU, UN and US: the only workplaces in the world where stupidity is a merit when applying for a top job.
