The intelligent design of peace negotiation

Peace can no longer be woven as if it was a geo-textile fabric, keeping repressed weed-like forces dormant.  At the first sign of cracks, virulent weeds are going to pierce their way through. When it comes to strategies, there is a better way: A grassroots Geo-Spiritual Approach, in which massive park gardens infra-structures are created throughout the region to root feed society: The people have ample opportunity to root out their inner weeds themselves.

When it comes to strategies, there is a better way: A grassroots Geo-Spiritual Approach, in which massive park gardens infra-structures are created throughout the region to root feed society: The people have ample opportunity to root out their respective inner weeds themselves.

Without revealing this kind of deeply rooted Wisdom , left to our own devices, we have the innate ability to pervert even the most basic  laws of nature. Case in point, in the 19th century Karl Marx postulated communism as a utopian model for society, in which people would work for the benefit of the collective. This model failed because it worked against the current nature of human desire. The model that started out with such noble intentions wound up just the opposite, forcing the worst kind of trickle-down state run government. There are forms of society, where this model seems to function, like the Israeli kibbutz, such as citrus orchards and vineyards.  Then, there are the neighborhood community gardens in New York City, the Urban Farms in Chicago, the European allotment gardens, the German kindergarten, Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophy just to name a few. There must be something about the gardening ritual that cleanses the heart and gardens the spirit. In my German language book, “Der Himmelsgarten”, I relate a Zohar passage about the creation of the Otiot to spiritual gardening:

Legend has it that 2,000 years before the Creator  created man, He created the great spiritual universe and mapped it out into 22  geo-spiritual quadrants. Each quadrant was root-fed with a unique combination of  heavenly wisdom and heavenly heart. In my book I discuss how these depictions  were sensed by the biblical patriarchs and later chronicled as the 22 Hebrew  letters which were later combined into words, verses and books within the Bible.  The horizontal aspects of the letters relate to the degree of heavenly godliness  one feels in the heart and the vertical components signify the heavenly wisdom  to attain a specific level towards attainment. Biblical words like grasses,  rose, flower bud, water, land, roots tree, etc. contain embedded spiritual  instructions to cleanse the heart and garden the spirit. This helps explain why  people can feel spirituality while gardening. They are harmonizing with the  original root feeding of the spiritual letters.

The 19th century German pedagogues were on the right track when they invented the kindergarten model which root feed their spirits, from he bottom up through gardening. They understood that gardening was a spiritual nexus for cleansing the soul and gardening the spirit.

As the eldest grandson of Ross Daniels, the inventor of the Ross Root Feeder, I spent the first half of my professional career working in the family business, teaching landscapers and gardeners how deep root feeding trains the tap roots to grow down to the source.

Spiritually speaking, our primal intention is to trace our root back to the Source. What limit this intention, are our inner weeds which clog up our roots. These are detaching forces like racism, collective egoism, arrogance. In return for the promise of fleeting sparks of life, fundamentalist trickle down models incite hatred of scape goats as if they were weeds in the ground. The most egregious example was Hitler in Nazi Germany with the extermination of six million Jews and other minorities.

After all of this analysis I conceived the ‘Weed Out Hate’ initiative, inspiring kids to weed out hate as if hate was a weed! Rather than imposed traditional peace accords on the people, I believe it would far more productive to root feed society by creating a socialized urban park gardens matrix throughout the Middle East, in which children and adults could practice spiritual community gardening rituals for weeding out and composting hatred.  Freed from these detaching limitations, illuminated spirits would rise and fill pockets in a geo-spiritual matrix of living, breathing peace so perfect, it could have only been created through Intelligent Design.

About the Author
As the eldest grandson of Ross Daniels, the inventor of a horticultural irrigation tool for deep watering and feeding at the deepest roots, Marc spent the first half of his career learning about global gardening and gardener's trends. Ten years ago, he began thinking about how to take his grandfather's vision to the next level, for inspiring humanity to weed out hate and sow the seeds of peace through spiritual gardening.
