The problem with the UN vis-à-vis Israel

On the lack of respect for the Jews and their autonomy

Simplistic, rash, one-stop, political ‘solutions’ are created by people who don’t have enough time to think through the whole problem.

You don’t stop the world’s anti-Jewish coalition by just defunding the UN.

We’re not even out of the woods when we’d establish a new world organization of only democratic countries. Think of it as Europe Plus. But they too, in a great majority, are flogging the dead horse of the Two-State Solution. The old colonialist mindset is still alive, together with a lack of respect for Jews and Jewish self-determination. They simply don’t believe us (or listen) when we say that would be the end of the Jewish State.

And all the many different UN agencies that oppose Israel are not the only problem. There is the International Red Cross, declaring Israel’s presence on the West Bank ‘a violation of international law.’

And the international and national press organizations with their endless Israel obsession are nonstop spreading prejudices, half-truths, and lies.

And then, politicians and citizens often don’t recognize Antisemitism because they’re unaware of their subliminal animosity against Jews.

Then we have the world’s Monotheist majority that sadly, either preaches hatred against Jews or largely stays passive in the face of Antisemitism.

There is the bond between extreme Islam, extreme left, and extreme right.

The central problem is Jew-hatred. As long as that is the default modus in world politics, and the Israel lovers form the minority, there is no solution.

Yet, his originalities seem to root deeply in traditional Judaism, though they may grow in unexpected directions. In fact, he claims he's modernizing nothing. Rather, mainly basing himself on the basic Hebrew Torah text, he tries to rediscover classical Jewish thought almost lost in thousands of years of stifling Gentile domination and Jewish assimilation.
