The Qa-takeover of America is a real betrayal of global allyship

Consider this common scenario: Imagine you catch a friend talking negatively about you behind your back. While you’re hurt, you struggle to let go of the friendship. Unfortunately, the same thing is happening on a much larger scale, and America is negatively allowing Qatar to continue its global dominance. It is time for Washington to hold Doha accountable.

Qatar, one of America’s closest allies in the Middle East, houses the most American military bases in the region. However, behind America’s back, Qatar is concealing an unsettling truth, and America is allowing Qatar to evade accountability.

For decades, Qatar has been secretly funding elite US universities. Since 2012, Qatar has been the top foreign funder to these prestigious universities, donating nearly $4 billion. Notably, most of this funding went unreported to the US Department of Education, which is mandated by law to report such transactions.

In 2012, an ongoing research study from the Institute of Global Antisemitism and Policy, titled “Follow the Money,” began shedding light on the dark truth of foreign funding in American education, encompassing both collegiate and primary/secondary systems. This study continues to this day. In 2019, Dr. Charles Asher Small, the lead researcher at ISGAP, presented his findings, which revealed billions of dollars in undisclosed funding. This revelation prompted a federal investigation, finally bringing Qatar’s actions to the forefront.

Qatar, a significant funder of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) curriculum, may seem like a positive step, but in reality, it has severe repercussions. While I support diversity and inclusion, the removal should be based on equity. Inclusion of one group doesn’t imply exclusion of another, and our extreme inclusivity has become exclusionary. For instance, including transgender women (biological men) in sports poses a safety risk to biological women’s participation. Recently, President Trump signed an executive order banning transgender athletes from participating in women’s sports to protect biological women.

In a world where DEI is prevalent, an entire generation has been taught about rights without understanding their responsibilities and how to follow directions. Rights come with responsibilities, and we must acknowledge this forever.

Propaganda is being taught in our schools and dominates social media, and appallingly, it’s being introduced at the youngest ages, even in preschool.

This is not only anti-American but also anti-Western.

As a result, Islamic influence is increasing in the West, posing a threat to modernity and civilization. Both the Islamic Republic of Iran, the top state sponsor of terrorism and an enemy of the US, and Qatar, the second-highest state sponsor of terrorism, are significant backers of Hamas and played a crucial role in the October 7, 2023, attacks. They also aim to expand their influence beyond the Middle East, and unfortunately, their efforts are succeeding.

However, what would transpire if Qatar and America were to sever ties permanently? Well, according to my search results, nothing.

As President Trump recently visited Qatar, in which the Qatari Royal Family gifted him a luxury 747-8 jet to use as Air Force One, but not Israel, we should be on edge. Let Air Force and any US government property be in the hands of the US Government only. It is also illegal for any executive official to accept gifts from any foreign government without congressional approval.

If Qatar wants to truly be a friend to America, it needs to reconsider its educational tactics.

The potential acceptance of such a gift has sparked massive criticism from US lawmakers and ethics watchdogs, who argue it could violate the Constitution’s Emoluments Clause, which prohibits federal officials from accepting gifts from foreign states without congressional approval. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senator Adam Schiff have expressed concerns over the implications of this potential arrangement.

Nevertheless, Qatar must choose a distinct stance: good or pure evil. There is a clear distinction between the two.

Long story short, Qatar is NOT America’s friend.
