The deadly lie

The silent killer.
It can creep in slowly by way of an offhand comment, subtle look of disapproval, a word said, or even a word left unsaid.

Maybe you notice and attempt to brush it off, but it sticks…like glue. Now it’s there, a poison so venomous it can not be treated, even by the best of man made therapies.

G- d Himself instructs us to completely destroy any trace of it. It comes when we least expect it and erodes at the very foundation of goodness and creativity.

It festers in the dark recesses of protective layers of the mind seeping through the pores and entering the psyche. A huge victory for a hungry parasite. It feeds on the innovation and uniqueness that was meant to expand horizons.

Aggressively growing, it makes its way from the mind to the heart. A fatal blow that puts into question our very existence.

It has taken down great men and has caused the demise of once great civilizations.

It grows fast and ugly.

It destroys lives by eating away at the hopes, dreams, and potential keeping us trapped in suffocating deadly boxes where growth stagnates.

It can cause such embarrassment and shame that people prefer not to live.

Labeled doubt, it is a lie.
