The Spanish edition of my book on the Abraham Accords

Los Acuerdos de Abraham: Habilitando el diálogo y la inclusión

This is the title of my latest book. It is the Spanish edition. The book was previously available only as an English edition, titled “The Abraham Accords: Enabling dialog and inclusiveness”.

A brief background is in order: On November 11^th, 2021, the Jewish Federation of Sacramento, California, hosted a round table with a delegation of Sharaka. Sharaka is an organization of young leaders from the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Israel. It was founded following the Abraham Accords in 2020 to foster cooperation between Israel and the Arab world (“sharaka” means “partnership” in Arabic). The Abraham Accords are peace treaties normalizing diplomatic relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Morocco.

The book consists of the dialogs and discussions held during the round table in Sacramento, California, which I translated from English to Spanish. I hope that in this way the ideas presented at the round table will reach the Spanish-speaking world.

I am not associated with Sharaka. However, I consider important that the perspective of their members should be heard by the amplest audience possible. It is a perspective of dialog, inclusion and reconciliation. It should be heard to neutralize the anti-Israeli and anti-Semite ideology behind the boycott and BDS of Israel.
